My husband has been haveing terrible pain in his back and went for the blood of the doctor's test showed high protein in urine. He also had a CT scan and a cyst is infected by a stroke in the left kidney. What does this mean as far as treatment, prognosis, in other words, he could go? I wonder why he did not start treatment with antibiotics. He was in pain for approx. 3 weeks. It is a biopsy next week. He suffers from diabetes and hypertension.
