Vhf Radio License What Do I Have To Do In Order To Get A Marine Radio License?

What Do I have to do in order to get a Marine Radio License? - vhf radio license

Hello to all. I've heard that you need a license to speak a marine VHF radio. Where can I get one of them, how much does it cost and there is evidence in question. All study materials, you should consider whether it is a test.

Thanks

Contact the Federal Communications Commission (the nearest office can help). Things have changed in the last 40 years, but I do not think there is a test, and I think it will be a fee. (I call them and demand - the information is free.)

To be done for use in U.S. waters, boaters do not need a station license. An e-mail to the recording of the radio only.

The holder of an online radio VHS typical view is retrieved by the square root of the height above the water of an estimated 1.4 times. is so dependent on the height of the antenna 20 to achieve + miles in open water.

An application form is often associated with the radio for instructions on how to fill out and packed to the FCC. When you make a mistake, you can download from the FCC Web site, Google has the FCC forms. In fact, what the rules require, a means to identify the user via the radio, most people also identify the vessel and to provide the port of the original radio. Listen to the radio for a few minutes, and it becomes clear how to use it. Good luck!

It is usually in the energy sector. Small units of 5 watts or less, you buy the device and at the reception. There is no evidence. Remember, this radio line of sight, however, and even water will be very limited. If the boat is in sight, will not likely be able to speak.
