Can I Use Sdram In My Computer I Have A New Computer Made For PC3200 DDR SDRAM. Will My 1-gig Stick Of PC2600 Work In It?

I have a new computer made for PC3200 DDR SDRAM. Will my 1-gig stick of PC2600 work in it? - can i use sdram in my computer

The former team with a PC2600 DDR SDRAM HP Pavilion 552w and the new computer I have it on an HP Pavilion m1170n RAM. It seems that both DIMM 184-pin compatible.

In general, yes ... Even when you find an error on some systems if you install 2-speed-independent RAM on the same plate. When you restart the system and do not start properly (most likely experience a sequence of beeps if the RAM is not supported), it is not supposed to be. Take it and pull up. It is unlikely you for damage to the motherboard, so it's worth a try to see if it will work.

Works will be, some devices may not support faster RAM to come, but almost all machines will support slower RAM. The team is the 1 GB of PC2600 RAM.

Note that DDR RAM sticks to install the system in single-channel mode which is slower than the dual-channel mode operation. Even if you install PC3200 memory is PC3200 memory slowing down to PC2600.

) As a rule, to do the best (in terms of performance when more RAM is needed for a new pair in the size and speed you need.
