What are some of the best external hardrives for PC computers? - external hardrives that sleep
I have very little space on my PC, and I learned a Hardrive could help the open space. The only problem is that I know almost nothing about hard disks, so in addition to a few good suggestions for them, it would be nice to know what to look. Thanks in advance!

Western Digital, Seagate and Maxtor are premium brands, but also intangible name is actually solid in recent days. I tend to compare brands and stored. If there is only a few dollars extra for the brand products, so I enter but if the price difference is big, I always go cheap and have never had a problem.
External hard drives typically come in USB or Firewire. You can have both installed on your computer, but almost certainly a USB port, so if you do not know which topics, select USB.
There are a variety of sizes, shapes and colors, and nothing that is really important ... but usually several physical size of the unit, the more expensive. I'm not talking about space, almost as big as the real object.
When storage space is the smallest I now see 160 GB. Just to put this in perspective, going from an average MP3 song is 5 megabytes. That would mean they could hold more than 30,000 songs in MP3 at 16 would0 gigas.

WD and Seagate are the best, that's my opinion. However, Seagate is a little better to have 60 months warranty and 12 months only WD.
Oh! If you have a room, you should use a 3.5 inch one inch less than 2.5 GB.
